COLON: INFLAMMATORY POLYP ( AKA PSEUDOPOLYP)

Sometimes, the inflammatory polyp consists only of granulation tissue, this is most common when the polyp is related to anatomosis

HISTOLOGICAL FINDINGS OF INFLAMMATORY POLYP
1.- Polyp composed of dilated, branched, and hyperplastic crypts with regenerative epithelium.
2.-Granulation tissue
