Frecuentemente , vemos en mi hospital, muchos pacientes con diarrea crónica y anemia. Histologicamente observamos atrofia villositaria y linfocitosis intraepitelial ( de 30 a 40% en promedio). Este cuadro histologico en el hemisferio norte se corresponde altamente con ENFERMEDAD CELIACA. Sin embargo en nuestro medio, solo en un 30% de casos , los anticuerpos resultan positivos (antiendomisio y antitransglutaminasa). Necesitamos investigar mas este fenomeno.
